Namaste by Delhi Darbar scoops three stars at the Great Taste Awards

Namaste by Delhi Darbar has been awarded the highest accolade at the 2023 Great Taste Awards for a warming Indian tea that shoppers have been savouring since the restaurant open doors in 2021.

The restaurant’s traditional Indian tea, Grandad’s Masala Chai, received the prestigious 3-star ranking at this year’s Great Taste Awards.

Serving authentic Indian dishes inspired by Old Delhi, Namaste by Delhi Darbar has become synonymous with city shoppers for its fresh ingredients, rich flavours, and exciting menu.

Grandad’s Masala Chai is no exception! A warm, sweet milk infused with a blend of aromatic cinnamon, fiery ginger, cloves and woody chicory root, Namaste’s take on the traditional Masala Chai is a fragrant, comforting beverage to be enjoyed at all times of the day.

Grandad’s Masala Chai surpassed over 14,190 entrants to become part of the 1.8% of products to achieve 3-star status at this year’s Great Taste Awards.
