Football charity pop-up 28-29 Nov
Footy fans can shop exclusive football shirts and pre-loved Premier League kit in St. Enoch Centre on 28-29 November, as sports charity initiative Kitback holds a pop-up event.
Launched by the not-for-profit Street Soccer Scotland earlier this year, Kitback collects, upcycles and then resells pre-loved football shirts to raise funds for the charity’s life-changing work and reduce environmental waste from unwanted kit going into landfill.
Established in 2009, Street Soccer Scotland uses football as a tool to create positive change. Offering free, trauma-informed football sessions, the organisation seeks to empower those most vulnerable in society by reducing isolation, building communities and providing opportunities.
Kitback has gained support from leading figures within the sport, with kit donated from English Premier League side Fulham FC and football legends Christian Dailly and Mo Johnston. By leveraging fans’ passion for the beautiful game, and the growing demand for sports memorabilia, Kitback seeks to drives awareness, and critically funds, for Street Soccer Scotland’s community projects.
The Kitback pop-up will be held on Level 1 of St. Enoch Centre on 28-29 November.
